Quite often I like to be reminded of just how wide a 14mm super wide lens is. It’s almost able to see behind it’s self but not quite. It can fit in the entirety of Tower Bridge from just a few metres away and this is what that looks like at sunset on a beautiful summer’s evening. @xirfan
Riding the Emirates Cable Car is a smooth and pleasant journey but you wouldn’t feel that way if the cars travelled at the speed of our timelapse! We started this timelapse at just the right time as you can see the sky transforming from light to dark in 30 seconds. A short and sweet clip for your enjoyment.
If you live in East London you don’t have to go far to do a bit of nature watching. South Dock on the Isle of Dogs is a good place to see birds that spend a lot of their lives on water, feeding, breeding, nesting and fighting like mad over roosting rights. The beautiful sunset was a bonus but also a back drop to the drama unfolding as the night closed in. I have heard of people ‘de-birding’ their timelapse videos to make them look better but this is one in which the birds will definitely stay. @xirfan
We don’t only shoot in London. Dorset is a nice drive away from London and on Christmas day there’s not even any traffic on the small country roads so you get there easily. This wonderful view is a short walk from the car park and watching the sunset and the moon rise was an unforgettable pleasure. Unfortunately there wasn’t anywhere open to get a hot chocolate on the way back. @xirfan
